About The Conference

Message from the Conference Chair

Dear colleagues; It is a true pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the second international conference on Histocompatibility and solid organ transplantation –Dammam. Special welcome and sincere thanks and gratitude to our distinguished speakers and those who made a long trip to the meeting to present hot and advanced topics related to Immunogenetics and Transplantation. The scientific program of this conference contains various and comprehensive topics relevant to the field of Histocompatibility and solid organ transplantation in a multidisciplinary fashion including HLA- diagnostic, immunology , histopathology and therapeutic approach in a systematic way and will be presented by leaders and renowned speakers nationally and internationally. We include basic immunology and advanced laboratory methodologies in histocompatibility, and the latest technological and pathological developments will be the main feature of the program. The clinical nephrologists will provide us with their latest researches and clinical trials in the field of transplantations. Our local expertise in this field will share their extensive experience and summarizes for us the best therapeutic modalities with others. The abstract session hopefully will offer an excellent opportunity for exchanging knowledge and research among professions in the field of solid organ transplantation in the kingdom, Gulf and Middle East region. The three days meeting will also be an excellent opportunity for networking and collaborations between immunologists, pathologists, scientists, transplant nephrologists and other related health care provider who are involved or interested. The state of art lectures and workshop will be an excellent learning opportunity for transplant coordinators, HLA- lab directors and technologists, fellows of nephrology and students. . Finally I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the organizing committee, chair persons and sponsoring companies. I hope this meeting will be of professional benefit to all of us and to be an exciting and a memorable scientific event. Looking forward to see you all in the bride of Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia; Dammam
