Academic and Training Affairs Administration

KFSHD’s Academic and Training Affairs Administration (ATAA) was established in 2005 and began its educational/training activities in 2006.  The Administration consists of Quality and Development Department, Academic Affairs Administration, Clinical Training Administration, and Clinical Skills Training Center.
ATAA undertakes the responsibility of providing and maintaining superior medical and clinical education in different competencies by:

  • Designing and expanding revolutionary educational training programs that stimulates safe and specialized healthcare practice of the trainees for the benefit of our patients and community.
  • Leading and administering supplementary educational activities supporting undergraduates, postgraduates, and health care providers through continuous medical education and professional development programs.
  • Long term investment in pioneer health care practitioners and talent acquisition through international scholarship programs.
  • Ensuring that all academic and training programs conducted by ATAA in KFSHD are accredited by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and aligned with the mission, vision and values of KFSHD.
  • Inclined to the Kingdom’s 2030 vision to ensure providing  qualified skilled healthcare work force to serve KFSHD, the E1 cluster, and  nationwide. 
  • Instituting collaborative projects and agreements with national and international organizations that will support development of the trainees to be the finest professionals in their selected fields.

To support KFSH-D mission by providing educational and training services that is parallel to the best internationally recognized standards.
